Dr Lim Lay Cheng obtained her Ph.D. in Molecular Medicine from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Medical Molecular Biology Institute (UMBI) in 2015. Her PhD research focused on the cancer proteomics with the aim to discover potential protein biomarkers for detection of colorectal cancer by employing multiple proteomics platforms. Her research interest is in cancer proteomics, mainly in biomarkers.
